Our stone division has vast experience in the cut to size market whether it is interior or exterior cladding, paving, water features, monuments or countertops. Couture Surfaces has established a solid network of reputable suppliers and fabricators to ensure first quality products, direct access and a distinct advantage in buying power. Architectural cut to size projects start with the material selection. This selection is made based on meeting the aesthetic preferences of the architect, owner or specification and also meeting the structural criteria to function as intended. After this is determined we will assist in installation design and engineering. Every project starts with shop drawings, so when the material arrives to the job site every piece is numbered related to its position in the installation system. The back-up system is typically mud set, mechanical, wire and plaster, set in pre-cast or pre hung on a trust frame. If required, we will travel to the quarries to hand select the desired blocks, and have them shipped to the fabricator. After procurement we may have to revisit the fabricator for a slab review determining the range along with viewing a dry lay. When the fabrication is complete it is then crated in accordance with the installation schedule, put on a container and shipped to the job site. There, the first crate off is generally the first crate being installed. Every aspect is logistically mapped out for an efficient and turnkey project.

We also provide multi living unit buildings with prefabricated counter tops from places around the world such as Brazil, China, Spain, Italy along with many more.

For fast track projects Couture Surfaces has its own well equipped fabrication facility. Architects and designers come to us because we have the design capabilities, craftsmanship and technology to manufacture intricate custom details which many cannot. Our shop consists of bridge saws, water jets, CNC, edge machines, hand finishing, assembly and dry lay area.
